Abstrsct

CRITERIA

  • The poster title should match the abstract title.
  • The poster font should be large enough, so you can read it from 2 to 3 feet way (>18 point.)
  • All illustrations (graphs, pictures, figures, tables) should be large enough for easy observation.
  • Divide your poster into Introduction, Objectives, Methods, Results, Discussion and Conclusion, when appropriate.
  • The board of your poster will be numbered. Numbers will be stated in the final program.
  • Set the dimensions to a maximum at 150cm wide and 100cm tall.
  • When used, the images on your poster need to be 300 dpi (dots-per-inch) or higher.
  • Colors should be used to enhance comprehension, not to decorate the poster.
  • Figures should be numbered consecutively according to the order in which they are first mentioned in the text.
  • Each visual should have a brieftitle (for example: Figure 1- Location of studyarea)

All submitted papers will be sent to reviewers for a blind review. The reviewers use the following in evaluating research papers:

  1. Novel Contribution
  2. Originality in Thought
  3. Inferences
  4. Key Strengths
  5. Key Weaknesses
  6. Areas of Improvement
  7. Presentation/Organization of Research

POSTER PREPARATION & INSTRUCTIONS

Please follow this format to be followed for accepted Posters for presentation.
  1. Size of the poster ( 0.85 m  x 2 m  )
  2. Roll up ( see photo )
  3. Should include the following information:
  • Presenting author’s and co-authors’ details, full first and family name(s).
    Affiliation details: department, institution / hospital, city, state (if relevant), country, email address
  • Certificate of presentation will be given to the presenting author only.
    Abstract title – limited to 25 words in Upper Case
  • Abstract text – limited to 250 words, including acknowledgements.
  • We recommend using word-processing software (for example, Word) for editing your abstract and counting the number of words.

Research abstracts should clearly state:

  • Background and aims
  • Methods
  • Results
  • Conclusion
